XtruGrav is a gravimetric system installed on extruder for precise measuring and calculating weight per meter and extrusion output. The system records variations in mass throughput and balances them precisely with set values. Precision error: < 0.3 - 0.5% (depending on raw material type and machine output). The extrusion process goes on a constant level, weight per meter or rates of mass throughput are kept on ideal levels and the raw material consumption is minimized. Our gravimetric “weight per meter” measurement unit ideally suits for extrusion of pipes, tubes, profiles, cables, film, etc.
